<title><![CDATA[UNC Board of Governors Votes to Approve Name Change]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[<center><img src="/images/issues/4-3/uncsa.jpg" width="300"></center>The UNC Board of Governors voted unanimously Friday morning to change NCSA's name to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. According to the Winston-Salem Journal, two governors made brief comments before the vote, although no opposition was raised at the meeting.<br /><br />Before the name change is official, it must be approved by the North Carolina General Assembly on May 13.
